I’ve been interested in finding natural ways for health and beauty for many years. As a teenager I would buy chamomile flowers from Culpepers, the herbal shop named after Nicholas Culpeper (1616-54) who was an English apothecary and physician. By steeping these flowers in a bowl of water it would make a lovely natural infusion that I’d wash my hair in which lightened it naturally! Chamomile is a well-known herb that is considered a great healer both to the physical, emotional and spiritual elements of the body. So, it would seem I had already started my journey into complementary health!
I have spent many years working in Higher Education and I have always had an interest in complementary therapies. Many of my books are related to health and well-being and since embarking on the course in reflexology my bookshelf has now more than doubled in size and continues to grow. Along with case studies one of the major parts of the course was reading and researching which I really enjoyed. I’ve received reflexology myself for many years for help and support with my health and love the relaxation and the many benefits that it can bring. So much so that I wanted to study and gain a qualification in reflexology so that I could share the wonderful benefits with others.
I studied at the Contemporary Reflexology College in Birmingham where I was trained by the highly respected Allison Walker and qualified in 2019 with a Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology which is the highest reflexology qualification available in the UK. This qualification is also recognised throughout Europe. I have gained advanced working knowledge of anatomy, pathologies and physiology (at a level recognised by the NHS) providing me with a wide understanding of ailments and conditions.

I am a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). Membership of the AoR signifies that I have met the strictest standards of reflexology practice, am insured to practice and committed to continually developing my skills and knowledge.

Please get in touch if you’d like to book an appointment or have any questions about reflexology.
